The sound of violins, nyckelharpas, accordions, saws, and whatever else you might bring flows out of the windows and doors of Frølageret.
It’s social and cozy when musicians and audience members come together around the table. Bring an instrument if you play – and if you don’t, come anyway and enjoy the atmosphere.
There’s cheap coffee punch at the bar and ice-cold O’nse pilsners in the fridge. This evening, the Swedish nyckelharpa player Peter ‘Puma’ Hedlund will host the jam session – it’s going to be great!
Folk'tinget is a new organizing group for folk music sessions in Odense. The group consists of folk music lovers and performers who are passionate about bringing the music, the community, and the development of folk music culture back to Odense – a scene that has scattered since the relocation of the folk music program at the University of Southern Denmark's Music Conservatory.
