Droning, yet varied. Constantly rising, yet liberating. Inspired by Egyptian and Arabic traditions, yet simultaneously experimental and infused with innovation. This Egyptian/Norwegian trio is not afraid to try new things.
The Handover consists of three musicians who play the oud, violin, and keyboard. Their shows are typically one continuous, improvised explosion of improvisation, where they are not afraid to blend their Arabic inspirations with krautrock and sharp acid jazz.
You won't find any drums here, but you will experience a musical tapestry being woven before your eyes and ears when The Handover invites you to a truly unique experience. They have previously played at Momentum Musik and are now back in Odense so more people can have the chance to experience their unique blend of genres and free, improvised performance.
